Yes! A little rain doesn’t stop us. With proper clothing and enough spare clothes for afterwards, it can still be a successful activity. Only when weather conditions make it unsafe do we cancel the activity and look at the moment for possible alternatives.
During the scooter ride, it can get muddy at times. Closed shoes and athletic clothing that is allowed to get dirty and wet are a must. Rain pants and a raincoat are also useful for the splashing mud. In cold weather, it is best to provide warm clothing and gloves. Be sure to bring a change of clothes so you can return home refreshed!
We start from the lake Donk. After a short stretch along the public road, we soon enter the woods and cross the fields of the beautiful Flemish Ardennes. The tour is 20 to 25 km long and perfectly doable within the time limit of 2 hours. In wet weather it can be very muddy, so make sure you have the proper clothing.
Our standard practice is to prohibit alcohol before or during our activities. With the offroad scooters we are extra strict on this since we are going on public roads with a vehicle.
This activity is not wheelchair accessible. However, provided an adult companion, the trail is accessible to the blind and visually impaired.
