Our park is open from April until October. During opening hours, you can easily purchase tickets online for the activities found above. We always recommend reserving your tickets in advance.

Outside opening hours, you can also visit as a group by request.

How to get here

By car

Our address is Donkstraat 50, 9700 Oudenaarde.

Still can’t find it? Then enter “Minderbroederstraat Oudenaarde,” then follow the arrows for The Outsider.

At the beginning of Donk Street is a large free parking. There are two charging points for electric cars.
Parking full? Then there is also free parking Huttegem, just a 5-minute walk along the pond.

By public transport

Are you coming by train?

The Donkvijver can be reached almost completely traffic-free from Oudenaarde’s train station.

Count on a 25 to 35-minute walk (1.7 km), depending on the size of the group.

Are you coming by bus?

Also With the on-call bus (De Lijn Flex) you can reach the Donkvijver. To do this, book on-call bus 460 from 14 days to at least 1 hour before the trip. You can take the on-call bus at Oudenaarde station in the direction of the Donkvijver. Afterwards, the on-call bus can take you back to the station.

You can book this by phone, through the website or through the De Lijn Flex app.

By bicycle

There is a ample bicycle storage on the property.

  • How soon should we decide and book?

    Popular dates, especially in spring and summer, fill up quickly. Early reservations are recommended.

  • Can we come and see the location beforehand?

    Yes, of course you can! Make an appointment and we’ll show you the possibilities and discuss your ideas.

  • Are decorations or special effects such as confetti allowed?

    Some forms of decoration are allowed, others are not. We like to look at this individually, depending on safety and maintenance

  • Until what time can a party last?

    This depends on the type of event and the arrangements made. We always discuss times and final hours in advance.

  • Can I book an event venue last minute?

    Sometimes, depending on availability and already scheduled events. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will see what is possible.

  • Are there outdoor spaces or a terrace at LakeHouse?

    Yes, the location on Donk Pond is a major plus, and there is green/outdoor/water environment.

  • Is LakeHouse wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, the venue is wheelchair friendly.

  • What facilities does LakeHouse offer?

    LakeHouse offers a range of facilities: large modular hall, sound system, beamer/projector, stage/opportunity for live music, dance floor, possibly tent or additional infrastructure, parking, waterfront location, possible overnight stay (depending on event), etc.

  • Are your own drinks allowed?

    No. Bringing your own drinks is not possible. All drinks are exclusively provided by us.

  • What type of events can I rent the venues for?

    Our event venues are suitable for all kinds of events: seminars, meetings, staff parties, birthdays, family parties, communions, walking dinners, receptions…. Everything can be tailored to your needs.
