Apply for your day trip for high school

Would you like to visit with your high school, class or youth movement? Then request your offer for secondary education through this way. We will check availability and provide you with a concrete proposal soon.

  • What do the children best take with them on their trip? What do I put on the information letter?

A prepared participant is worth two! Therefore, you should ask them to put the following items in their backpack: clothing that may get wet and dirty, weather-appropriate equipment (raincoat, sunscreen, etc.), swimwear (especially for water-skiing or other water activities), sturdy sports shoes or bottoms that may get wet and dirty, spare shoes for later in the bus, a towel, a plastic bag for the wet clothing/shoes, a packed lunch, a snack, a four-hour snack, a water bottle, some pocket change for a drink or snack

  • What is the minimum and maximum group size?

You can take advantage of the social rates for schools and youth groups starting from 20 participants.
On the most popular school sport days, we can easily offer a quality program to 450+ students at a time.

  • When should I provide the final number of participants?

Changes in the number of participants with 25 persons or more must be communicated in writing or by e-mail at the latest 10 days before the activity.
Changes in the number of participants with less than 25 persons must be communicated in writing or by e-mail at the latest 24 hours before the activity. If 3% or less persons are absent during the activity, no costs will be charged. If more than 3% of the persons are absent, half of the price will be charged for the absentees.

  • From what age are the activities appropriate?

We have an offer for elementary school from 3rd grade and high school. The programs are perfectly tailored to the ages of the group. For the youngest, 1st and 2nd grade (6-8 years old), we do not have standard programs. If you are interested in coming along with this age group, do not hesitate to contact us and together we will see what activities are possible for your group.

  • Can we already reserve the school trip for some years in advance?

For sure! Many schools book their trip up to 3 years in advance to be sure of their ideal date. Important note: If you book more than a year in advance, prices are always subject to change. They can still be adjusted based on the health index or changes in the economic situation.

  • Are there showers/changing rooms available for the group?

Yes, large groups are always assigned a boys’ and girls’ changing area. In the adventure park you will find a fountain where everyone can easily rinse off, no showers are provided.

  • Where do we leave backpacks and valuables?

We provide designated areas in the locker room for personal items. Valuable items are best left at home as much as possible. All wallets and smartphones can be gathered in one bag and safely stored in one common locker.

  • Is supervision by monitors included? Do we also need to supervise ourselves?

Our activities are supervised by professional monitors. However, at least one teacher or leader must remain with the group as the person in charge.

  • Can the day trip with our class or youth movement continue in case of rain or bad weather?

Yes! A little rain doesn’t stop us. With proper clothing and plenty of spare clothes for afterwards, it can still be a successful day trip. We provide covered areas for lunch if it rains hard. Only when weather conditions make it unsafe, we look at the moment for possible alternatives. In case of thunderstorms, activities will be temporarily suspended to maintain safety.

  • Should students bring their own lunch on school trips? Can they buy lunch on site?

The tavern is not open by default during your visit throughout the week. Furthermore, a half-hour break is provided by default, which is not enough to provide lunch for every student. Therefore, we ask that you always bring your own lunch. During opening hours and busy school sport days, drinks and chips can be purchased. Feel free to ask about the options when booking.

  • We are coming by bus, can it park on the property easily?

Yes! Our spacious free parking certainly provides enough room for buses to drop off and wait for children.

  • How far in advance should we book?

Especially for schools, the rule is: the earlier, the better. Especially the days in June and September fill up very quickly. Several weeks to months in advance is recommended, and for the very popular dates we even recommend booking the day (or several days) several years in advance. Of course, it also strongly depends on the size of the group.

  • What is the process of arriving at the property?

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a monitor who will explain the course of the day and take the group to the dressing rooms. From then on, you can contact the group monitor with all your questions.

  • Can teachers or leaders themselves participate?

Yes, you can, and that’s the way we prefer it! It will only enhance the bond with your group. If the teacher/leader does not participate they do need to stay with the group on a mandatory basis.

  • Do we know in advance, when what activity will take place?

You can find this out at most one day in advance. Our planning manager , will only finalise it then. That way, we already know the correct numbers and no last-minute changes can happen.
