FAQ

  • What should I bring during my session? Be sure to bring tight-fitting swimwear a towel & your identity card ( to check your -16 years ticket). Flip-flops may also come in handy to attach to your life jacket to make the walk from the cable to the starting dock more pleasant :-). Do you have your own equipment such as helmet, life jacket, wetsuit or board? Then of course you can bring them along too!

  • What is included in my hour ticket? Besides access to the big cable, the price includes helmet, life jacket, kneeboard and skis. If the small cable is also open during your session, you will automatically have access to this as well. Besides access to the big cable, the price includes helmet, life jacket, kneeboard and skis. • Do I need to hire a wakeboard/ wetsuit as well? During your booking process you will be given the opportunity to rent an easy-up wakeboard , an obstacle  wakeboard or a wetsuit as well. This is NOT compulsory. We strongly recommend that beginners start with kneeboard and (then) waterski (both included in the price). Wakeboard is the last and most difficult step. However, experience with snowboarding, kite or skateboarding can help you learn wakeboarding. If you want to try wakeboarding for the first time, choose an easy-up wakeboard. Only when you manage to do laps with the easy-up can you switch for an obstacle wakeboard. Booking equipment in advance speeds up the process at the box office and so everyone can get on the water on time, please note we don't do refunds! So reserve only the things you will definitely use!

  • From what age can you try this? From 8 years, the small cable is accessible, from 10 years the big cable is accessible. We recommend that children always start on the small cable.

  • Where & when should I sign in? For wakeboarding/water skiing, you may walk straight from the car park to the Cablepark itself (at the water's edge). There you will find the reception desk where you will receive your access bracelet. You can also pick up your equipment at the reception. It is best to check in 15 to 30 minutes before your start time to make sure you can start your session on time.

  • It's my first time on the cable, what should I do at the start? If it is your first time, it is best to let the operator at the cableway know. He/she will help you start and give you the necessary tips and tricks. Also take a good look at the information video and -boards at the starting dock, they will help you get off to a smooth start. On weekends, the cable also runs a little slower between 1pm and 5pm, and the small initiation cable is also usually open. Then you can practice even more! Do you really want to learn from scratch, with a professional initiator? Then opt for a Start 2 Wake session on Thursday evenings from our water ski club AVLAR!
